Let’s tell the children

It doesn’t matter what they wear

Or how they style their hair

Let’s tell them we’re more interested in how they care

Not if they’re good at math, sports or art

We’re interested in the warmth of their heart

Let them know they can be whatever they want to be

As long as they are loving
